Seat Distribution:
The number of seats for the course per year is 5. The selection of candidates for MS Bioengineering course will be according to the directives of the CMC Vellore Council. Fifty percent of seats are reserved for Minority Network candidates, provided they fulfil other criteria for eligibility for admission. However, more than 50% of the available seats may be allotted to Minority Network candidates based on their final ranking. The waitlist is based on ranking in the selection tests. The first Minority Network candidate on the waiting list will ordinarily fill vacancies arising by Minority Network candidates not accepting a seat to make up 50% reservation for Minority Network candidates. In the event that Minority Network candidates fill more than 50% of the seats and one of the Minority Network candidates does not accept the seat, it will be offered to the next candidate on the waitlist by rank irrespective of whether he or she belongs to Minority Network or open category.
