Christ University Entrance Exam for B.Tech. (Session 1) 2020 or CUET B.Tech. (Session 1) 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to B.Tech. (Civil Engg.), B.Tech. (Automobile Engg.), B.Tech. (Computer Science and Engg.), B.Tech. (Electrical and Electronics Engg.), B.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engg.) and other courses. CUET B.Tech. (Session 1) 2020 is conducted by Christ University.

The application forms will be available from 01/10/2019 till 11/05/2020. The exam is in written mode. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. It is being conducted in English language. The result date will be announced later.

B.Tech.Programmes:

  • Basic eligibility for the programme is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) Examination from any recognised Board with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at Class XII level and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics. Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2019 may apply with their class X and XI marks.

Important Instructions:

  • Entrance Test will be conducted across India for 2020-21.
  • The admit card with specific date, time and venue of selection process will be assigned and updated on the University website and must be accessed on "Application Status" link. The candidate must login by entering his / her registered Email ID and password.
  • Selection Process consisting of Skill Assessment and Personal Interview (SA_PI) for shortlisted candidates (after Entrance test) will be conducted in Delhi, NCR (National Capital Region) | Kolkata | Pune, Lavasa | Bengaluru only.
  • Shortlisted candidates must print admit card generated for Skill Assessment and Personal Interview (SA_PI).
  • The centre and venue details for Skill Assessment and Personal Interview (SA_PI) will be updated on or before April 10, 2020.
  • Request for change in ET (Entrance Test), SA (Skill Assessment), PI (Personal Interview) dates / timing / Venue will not be entertained.
  • Applicants are advised to make all travel arrangements in advance as per the above published Important Dates.

Application Process

All applicants must visit the page: https://appstat.christuniversity.in and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and set a password. (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.

Application Mode

  • Online mode: To fill and submit application using online mode, log on to our website www.christuniversity.in and click on “Admissions”, proceed to click on the Application Status followed by appstat link: https://appstat.christuniversity.in/. In the confirmation page click, on ‘Applications’ and click on the preferred programme.
  • Direct mode: Application forms will be available at Office of Admissions, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Kengeri Campus, Kanmanike, Kumbalgodu, Mysore Road, Bangalore, Karnataka - 560074. To fill and submit application using offline mode, log on to our website www.christuniversity.in and click on “Admissions”, proceed to click on the Application Status followed by appestat link: https://appstat.christuniversity.in/ in the confirmation page click, on ‘Applications’ and click on the preferred programme. Choose offline application and enter the Application No., which is printed on the top left corner of this page, and the Receipt No. printed on the receipt.

Guidelines to applicants:

Candidates should make sure that they enter the correct marks in the “previous qualification” field entry given in the online application form as this data will be carried forward for preparing the selection list. Any error in the marks entered will be treated as fraudulence/falsification of marks and the application will be rejected at any given time during the application/selection or admission process.

  • To fill the application you must have a copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 11/12 (Can be entered only after results are declared) (Mandatory).
  •  Fill-in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on screen. In case you need to make any corrections you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
  • Choose the SA_PI venue while filling the application online along with the entrance test date and venue. Make payment using card and after successful payment click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, logon to https://appstat.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form. (After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete and payment will go in for refund process. The refund will take about 15 days and must be checked with your bank).

Examination Day Instructions

  • Candidates must report for the selection process on the allotted date and at least 30 minutes prior to the time stipulated in the selection process admit card along with a valid identity (ID) proof (Driving License/Passport/Electoral ID/Aadhar Card) in original, without which the candidates will not be permitted to appear for the selection process.
  • Cellular phones, satellite phone, scientific calculators, calculators etc., are not allowed into the selection process venue.
  • The candidate will have to appear for the selection process on the allotted date, time and venue mentioned on the selection process admit card with the following original documents and a set of photocopy :
    • The selection process admit card (Mandatory).
    • Copy of the filled-in printed application form duly signed by the parent/guardian and the candidate (Mandatory).
    • One copy of the online payment acknowledgement slip / direct mode Application receipt (Mandatory)
    • Statement of marks of class 10 & 11/12 (Mandatory).
    •  A valid Photo ID (Driving License/ Passport / Electoral ID / Aadhaar Card) (Mandatory).
    • Copy of transfer certificate from last qualified Institution (If available during the selection process).
    • Copy of Migration Certificate is Mandatory for all candidates other than Karnataka PU Board, from the previous Institute / University (If available during the selection process).
    • Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS / NRI SPONSORED CATEGORY) have to submit :
      • Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
      • Candidates applying under PIO or OCI have to produce the copy of PIO or OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory). 
      • Candidates applying under NRI sponsored category must submit sponsor willingness letter (Mandatory).
