Fellowship Entrance Test 2024 or FET 2024 is the entrance examination for admission to Fellowship (Spine Surgery), Fellowship (Sports Medicine), Fellowship (Arthroplasty), Fellowship (Body MR Imaging), Fellowship (Cross Sectional Body Imaging) and other courses. FET 2024 is conducted by National Board of Examinations.
FET for the year 2024 has been announced by National Board of Examinations and will be held on 23/02/2025. The application forms will be available from 27/12/2024 till 16/01/2025. The exam is in online mode. Admit card will be available from 19/02/2025. Result is expected to be announced on 21/03/2025.
The Minimum Academic Qualifications for FET 2024 required are appearing in Postgraduate Medical Degree / Provisional Pass Certificate (MD / MS / DM / MCh / DNB) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the FET 2024:
Step-1: Students have to register for the Online Application Form. A login and password are created.
Step-2: Student has to complete the Application Form and its various sections
Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature and Left Thumb Impression.
Step-4: Payments have to be made by Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI / PAYTM

There shall be a separate question paper for each fellowship course / clubbed group. The total number of questions in each question paper shall be 100, divided into two Parts; Part A & Part B.
Part-A of the question paper for any fellowship course / clubbed group shall comprise of MCQs from the eligible feeder broad / super speciality courses. In case, there is only a single feeder broad speciality course for a particular super speciality, Part A in such a case will comprise of questions from only one broad speciality. For eg.MS / DNB General Surgery is the only feeder specialty for FNB Minimal Access Surgery, therefore Part A of FNB Minimal Access Surgery question paper will comprise questions from General Surgery.
For Fellowship courses having multiple feeder speciality courses, Part-A will comprise of questions from all the eligible feeder specialty courses. For eg. The eligible feeder specialities for Hand & Micro Surgery course are General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Plastic Surgery. Therefore, Part -A of Hand and Micro Surgery question paper shall comprise of questions from all the three feeder specialty courses i.e. General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Plastic Surgery.
Part- B of the question paper: It shall comprise of 60 questions pertaining to the concerned fellowship course. The questions shall shall cover topics from clinical practice and basic sciences as applied to the concerned Fellowship course at entrance/entry level.
