50% of the seats in M.Sc. (Chemistry) shall be filled up by the candidates who have passed B.Sc. Examination with atleast 50% marks in aggregate with Chemistry and any other two subjects except Mathematics at B.Sc. level.

    Application Form Filling Instructions

    • Please read the Prospectus carefully and ensure your eligibility for the programme you are applying.
    • The candidates are required to Create Account with basic personal details, such as Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Gender, Religion, Nationality, Category, Date of Birth, Marital Status, State / UT of residence, scanned Passport size Photograph, scanned Signature, Correspondence Address, Permanent Address, Email (mandatory), Telephone Number, Mobile Number(mandatory), etc; and then fill the Application Form section.
    • Email Id shall be used as login username; the password will be generated by the candidate itself.
    • Photograph / Signature: The candidate should scan his / her signature which has been put on white paper with black ink pen. Each of the scanned images of the photograph / signature should not exceed 40 KB in size. The pixel size of photograph should be 140 pixels height x110 pixels width. The pixel size for signature should be 110 pixels height x140 pixels width. Please it must be ensured that the uploaded photograph / signature is proper.
    • The candidate will be confirmed about the account creation through email / sms.
    • After completion of Account creation, the candidate is required to fill the online application giving the details of Group(s) of programmes applied for, educational qualifications, undertaking etc.
    • Click on 'Save' to Save incomplete form or ‘Save and Continue to Make payment’ to proceed for Payment.
    • Fill all details on the form for each of the sections. Incomplete forms will be summarily rejected.
    • If you want to edit the form or complete any pending action before making the payment, you can do the same in the ‘Application Locker’ page which will be displayed after you login again.
    • After making payment, no editing / alteration in the application is allowed.
    • Next part of the online application contains payment of fees. On the Make Payment Page, choose Mode of Payment and verify the Amount and Click on Proceed. All major debit / credit cards are accepted. The payment may be made through the challan of Axis / PNB Bank, however, the last date for making payment thorugh challan is 14-06-2018. The application will be submitted only after the successful payment of processing fee.
    • Retrieve Acknowledgement slip. Please note, the acknowledgement slip is a proof of payment made and note your application form no. This shall be used for all communication.
    • The web-link will be disabled after the closing date / time of online application.
    • Admit Card will be accessible through the Application Locker.
    • The candidates need NOT to send hard copy of the Online Application Form or any other documents / certificates / testimonials / Experience Certificates to Maharshi Dayanand University. However, they are advised to take printout / save a copy of Online Application Form and retain it for submission of the same at the time of counselling.

    Examination Day Instructions

    • No candidate will be admitted to the Entrance Examination Hall unless he / she produces the Admit Card and valid ID proof. 
    • The Entrance Examination is meant to assess the candidates' suitability for the Programme to which he / she is seeking admission. 
    • No request for postponement of Entrance Examination will be entertained under any circumstances.
    • The question papers for various Entrance Examinations will consist of objective type multiple choice questions only.

    The following procedure shall be followed in the Examination Hall: 

    • No candidate will be allowed to enter the Examination Hall 15 minutes after the commencement of the examination.
    • No candidate will be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before the expiry of time. 
    • The doors of Examination Hall will be opened 30 minutes before the time fixed for commencement of the Examination. 
    • Each examinee will be given a sealed Test Booklet with an Answer Sheet 10 minutes before the commencement of the Examination.
    • The examinees, immediately on receipt of the Test Booklet, will fill in the required particulars with the ball point (black or blue) pen only on its cover page. 
    • The examinees shall not open the Test Booklet until asked to do so by the Invigilator.
    • Use of calculators, slide rules or log tables, books, papers, cellular phones or any other electronic device, etc. is not allowed.
    • The Examination will start exactly at the allotted time. The Invigilator will make an announcement to this effect. The examinees should start writing only after the announcement of the Invigilator. 
    • The Invigilator will check 'Admit Card' of each examinee during the Examination to satisfy himself about each of them. This 'Admit Card' must be deposited with the Invigilator on duty. The Invigilator will also put his signature in the place provided in the question booklet and OMR Answer Sheet.
    • The examinees shall bring their own ball point pens (blue or black), eraser, and foot-rule. These items will not be supplied by the University.
    • After completing the test and before handing over the Test Booklet and Answer Sheet, the examinees must check again that all the particulars required in the Test Booklet and the Answer Sheet have been correctly written.
    • A signal will be given at the beginning of the Examination and at half-time. A signal will also be given before the closing time when the examinees must stop marking responses. 

    Punishment for use of Unfair Means: If any candidate is found guilty of any breach of rules mentioned in the Prospectus or guilty of using unfair means, he / she will be liable to be punished according to the Act, Statutes, Ordinances, and Rules & Regulations of M.D. University, Rohtak.
