Patliputra University Ph.D. Admission Test 2020 or PPU PAT 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to Ph.D. (History), Ph.D. (Political Science), Ph.D. (Geography), Ph.D. (Economics), Ph.D. (Psychology) and other courses. PPU PAT 2020 is conducted by Patliputra University.
PPU PAT for the year 2020 has been announced by Patliputra University and will be held on 09/01/2020. The application forms will be available from 08/12/2019 till 25/12/2019. The exam is in written mode. The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes. It is being conducted in English language. The result date will be announced later.
Master's degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7 - point scale (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed.)

Exemptions From written test of Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT) 2020
Candidates who have secured grants for research such as Fellowship / Scholarship / associate ship etc. by qualifying UGC NET / CSIR NET / GATE / MHRD Scholarships Teacher fellowship / DBT / ICMR / ICAR / DST-INSPIRE / CSSIR, ICHR etc.
Assistant Professors, Associate Professor and Professor who has been appointed on a substantive post and the UGC pay scale in the Teaching departments or the University or a constituent college of the University who have completed their probation successfully with an experience of at least two years of uninterrupted service would be considered under this category. Teachers appointed in self-financed courses will not be exempted from the Test.
Non teaching employee of the University, who are holding the substantive appointment for more than five years and having at least 55% marks in Master's degree in the subject concerned and with at least two research papers published in any reputed referred journal of journals identified by the UGC would be considered under this category
Note: Candidates, who are exempted from the written test of Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT) - 2020, have to submit their application online with the payment of the required fee.
The online applications will be filled on the online payment of fee as per follows:- Rs. 1500/- (One Thousand and Five Hundred only) for applicants belonging to General and B.C.-II category; Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) for applicants belonging to S.C., S.T. and B.C . - I category.
Late fine for online submission of application:- 500/- (Five hundred only)
