Rajasthan JET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The Minimum Academic Qualifications for Rajasthan JET 2025 required are
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:
A candidate must ensure that he/she is eligible for admission to the desired course before filling the online application form for JET as detailed in the JET booklet. Applying for JET, appearing in the examinations, allotment of the college and qualifying for the same does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility. If a non-eligible candidate is admitted due to any reason, thenthe allotment or admission of such a candidate will be cancelled as soon as the mistake is detected even at later stage. Various eligibility criteria for admission through JET are as under: -
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- The candidates who have passed the Senior Secondary (10+2) examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan, Ajmer or any other Statutory Board or any examinations recognized equivalent to by the university in any of the combinations of following subjects in Science/Agriculture stream are eligible to appear in JET: Agriculture (A), Biology (B), Chemistry (C), Mathematics (M) and Physics (P) i.e. ABC or PCM or PCB or PCMB or PCA
- For Admission to B.Tech. (Food Technology): Out of combination of Agriculture (A), Biology (B), Chemistry (C), Mathematics (M) and Physics (P), only PCM or PCB or PCMB or PCA will be eligible.
- For Admission to B.Tech. (Dairy Technology): Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) subjects are essential at 10+2 level.
- Candidate has to attempt three subjects in JET examinations of his/her 10+2 stream only out of the above five subjects i.e. Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Those who want admission to B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) do not have any choice and must attempt only PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics).
- Candidate with Senior Secondary (10+2) Arts and Commerce stream are not eligible for JET Examinations
- A candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in the aforesaid examinations (10+2). A relaxation of 5% will be allowed to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/MBC/SAP/EWS category. The candidates taking the advantage of 5% relaxation will not be considered in UR category. Candidates having supplementary in the 10+2 Board Examinations-2025 will not be eligible for JET. The terms and conditions of the reservation policy as on the date of JET notification, will be applicable.
- Candidates who have appeared at any of the aforesaid qualifying examinations and whose results have not been declared before the commencement of the JET, shall provisionally be allowed to appear in the JET. The markssheet/result of the 12th (10+2) class examinations with all the subjects passed, is essential at the time of filling of the option form; and it should be submitted at the time of reporting in the college
AGE CRITERIA
- The minimum age limit is 16 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years as on 31.08.2025. The date of birth as mentioned in the Secondary Examinations Marks Sheet/ Certificate issued by competent authority will be considered as authentic.

Application Form Fee
- Rs. 1600/-+ Bank charges (if any), for all the eligible candidates including those from outside Rajasthan except candidates belongs to SC/ST/SAP (40% and above disability) of Rajasthan.
- Rs. 1300/- + Bank charges (if any), for candidates of SC/ST/SAP (40% and above disability) of Rajasthan.
Application Form Filling Instructions
- Students applying for the Rajasthan JET 2025 have to fill up the application form on the official site.
- The student can submit the application only once. Multiple forms will be rejected.
- The submission is ONLINE only.
Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form of Rajasthan JET 2025:
- PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity
- Qualification details
- Functional e-mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
- Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
- For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net Banking facility, UPI or PAYTM Service is a must.
- Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-cafe.
- It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.
The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the Rajasthan JET 2025:
- Students have to register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created.
- Student has to complete the Application Form and its various sections
- Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature and Left Thumb Impression.
- Payments have to be made by Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI / PAYTM.

Examination Day Instructions
Before entering the Exam Centre
- Try to reach the exam centre one hour prior to the time advised in the admit card.
- Before leaving for the site, please have a hearty breakfast or light lunch depending on the session. Drink plenty of fluids; as in summers dehydration can set in affecting your performance in the exam.
- Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
- If it is a busy centre, then don’t wait till last for the entry and security check.
- Centre will not allow you to enter after the stipulated time of closing the doors.
- Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
- Usually no bags are allowed.
- No eatables are allowed.
- No communication equipment such as mobile phones / pager/ wireless set, scanner, camera or any such electronic / digital gadget etc are allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.l
After entering the Centre
- Once candidates enter the centre, they should locate their designated hall and seat.
- If mentioned, candidates will be hand frisked as well as photographed or video graphed before entering the centre
- After all the formalities, candidates should enter the allotted hall and take the designated seat.
- No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall before the expiry of half of the time allotted for the respective paper.
- For Objective Type question papers, rough work is to be done in the space provided for this purpose. No rough work is allowed on the OMR Answer Sheet under any situation.
- Questions have to be answered on the answer sheet only.
- Copying, use of unfair means of any kind, talking, asking questions from other candidates or borrowing of material inside the Test Centre is strictly prohibited.
- The candidates are to return their OMR answer-sheets and the question paper in full to the Centre Superintendent. Tearing or taking away of the question paper is not allowed failing which the candidates shall be disqualified from the entire Entrance Test.
- Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.
- Caught copying helping in copying will mean cancellation of the answer sheet/cancellation of the candidature.
- Marking the answer sheet or question paper in any way will also lead to cancellation of the exam for that candidate.

Admit Card
- The Admit Card can be downloaded from the official site. Once it is downloaded it should be printed. Instructions on the Admit Card should be read carefully as very important details may be provided along with the Admit Card. Following information is provided with the admit card:
- Roll Number
- Name and place along with the address of the Exam or Test Centre
- Copy of the passport sized photo may be required to be taken to the Test Centre.
- Information is also provided about the identity related documents to be taken to the Exam centre.
- These may include Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Passport, voter card etc. The chosen identity related documents should be readied.
- Instructions will also be provided about any other document required.
- Instructions about any photocopying documents will also be provided.
- Stationary related information is also provided with the Admit Card.
