Rajasthan Joint Entrance Test 2020 or Rajasthan JET 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.F.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.) (Food Nutrition and Dietetics), B.Sc. (Hons.) (Agriculture) and other courses. Rajasthan JET 2020 is conducted by Agriculture University, Kota.

Rajasthan JET for the year 2020 has been announced by Agriculture University, Kota and will be held on 07/06/2020. The application forms will be available from 16/03/2020 till 28/04/2020. The exam is in written mode. The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes. It is being conducted in English and Hindi languages. Admit card will be available from 01/06/2020. Result is expected to be announced on 23/06/2020.

Rajasthan JET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

The minimum educational qualifications required are passed 12th examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan, Ajmer or any other Statutory Board or any examination recognized equivalent to by the university in any of the combination of following subjects in Science / Agriculture stream are eligible to appear in Rajasthan JET 2020 - Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics i.e. ABC, PCM, PCMB, PCB, PCA etc.

For Admission to B. Tech (Dairy Technology) / B.Tech (Food technology), Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics are essential at 12th level. Candidate with Arts and Commerce stream are not eligible.

Candidate may attempt any three subjects in Rajasthan JET 2020 out of above five. But those who wants admission to B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) and B.Tech. (Food Technology) do not have any choice and must attempt only PCM.

A candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in the Senior Secondary examination (10+2). A relaxation of 5% marks would be allowed to candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS category of Rajasthan. The candidates taking the advantage of 5% relaxation will not be considered in UR category. Candidates having supplementary in the Sr. Sec. (10+2) recent Board Examinations 2020 will not be eligible for JET. The OBC and MBC benefit is only for non creamy layer candidates of OBC/MBC categories.

Candidates who have appeared at any of the aforesaid qualifying examination and whose results have not been declared before the commencement of the JET, shall provisionally be allowed to appear in the JET. The mark sheet/result of the examination 12th class (10+2) with cleared all the subject is essential at the time of filling the option form.

  • AGE LIMIT :

The maximum age limit is 25 years as on 1st Jan 2020 i.e. candidate born before 1st Jan 1995 are not eligible. The date of birth as mentioned in the 10th mark sheet will be considered as authentic.

    Application Form Fee

    Rajasthan JET 2020 application form fee is Rs. 2800/- + Bank charges, if any for all the candidates.

    For candidates belonging to SC / ST / SAP category (40% and above disability) of Rajasthan, the fee will Rs. 1400/- + Bank charges, if any.

    Application form fee amount is to be deposited online only. This amount is non refundable or transferable or adjustable in any case.

    Students applying for the Rajasthan JET 2020 have to fill up the application form on the official site.

    Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form of Rajasthan JET 2020

    • PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity
    • Qualification details
    • Recent passport size photograph clearly showing date of photograph (5H × 4W cm) not more than six months old along with signature (2H × 4W cm) as single image (7H × 4Wcm with 80 pixels per inch, 30 to 50 KB) in the jpg/jpeg/png/bmp file format and all other documents in “PDF” format with 100 to 200 KB size is to be uploaded.Scan mark sheets of 10th and 12th (if passed already) examination in “pdf” format having size 100 to 200KB.
    • Scan mark sheets of 10th and 12th (if passed already) examination in “pdf” format having size 100 to 200KB.
    • Fee concession certificate i.e. caste category and/or Specially Abled Person (SAP) certificate indicating 40 % and above disability should be scan in “pdf” format having size 100 to 200 KB.
    • Functional e - mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
    • Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
    • For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net B facility, UPI Service is a must.
    • Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-café.
    • It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

    The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the Rajasthan JET 2020 : 

    • Step-1: Students have register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created.
    • Step-2: Student has to Complete the Application Form and its various sections.
    • Step-3: Payments have to be made
    • Step-4 : The final application form should be printed and a copy kept with you.

    Subjects


    The Subjects included for Rajasthan JET 2020 are:

    • Agriculture
    • Biology
    • Chemistry
    • Mathematics and Physics

    However, candidate has to attempt three subjects only.

    For admission in Dairy Technology and Food  Technology, candidates must attempt Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics only.

    Offline Dates

    Examination Day Instructions

    Before entering the Exam Centre 

    • The doors of examination centre  will be opened at 10.00 AM.
    • Try to reach the exam centre one hour prior to the time advised in the admit card.
    • Before leaving for the site, please have a hearty breakfast or light lunch depending on the session. Drink plenty of fluids; as in summers dehydration can set in affecting your performance in the exam.
    • Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
    • If it is a busy centre, then don’t wait till last for the entry and security check.
    • Centre will not allow you to enter after the stipulated time of closing the doors.
    • Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
    • Usually no bags are allowed.
    • No eatables are allowed.
    • No communication equipment such as mobile phones / pager/ wireless set, scanner, camera or any such electronic / digital gadget etc are allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.
    • Candidates are required to take their respective seats at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
    • Candidates must bring the following documents or items at the time of examination - Admit Card, Photograph.

    After Entering the centre

    • Use only black ball point pen provided at the centre for marking the answers.
    • Once candidates enter the centre, they should locate their designated hall and seat.
    • After all the formalities, candidates should enter the allotted hall and take the designated seat. 
    • No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall/room before the expiry of half of the time allotted for the respective paper.
    • For Objective Type question papers, rough work is to be done in the space provided for this purpose. No rough work is allowed on the OMR Answer Sheet under any situation.
    • Questions have to be answered on the answer sheet only.
    • Copying, use of unfair means of any kind, talking, asking questions from other candidates or borrowing of material inside the Test Centre is strictly prohibited.
    • The candidates are to return their OMR answer-sheets and the question paper in full to the Centre Superintendent. Tearing or taking away of the question paper is not allowed failing which the candidates shall be disqualified from the entire Entrance Test.
    • Smoking is a not allowed.
    • Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.
    • Caught copying helping in copying will mean cancellation of the answer sheet/cancellation of the candidature.
    • Marking the answer sheet or question paper in any way will also lead to cancellation of the exam for that candidate.

    Examination Day Dress Code

    • Half sleeves shirt / T- shirt (Boys), Half sleeves kurta / top (girls), Sandal or sleeper in feet. Wearing shoes, shocks, wrist watch, ear or nose pins, lockets, chain or any kind of ornament will be not allowed during examination. Wearing of specific dress of any coaching institute should be avoided.
    • All Jewellery should be removed at the home so that no problem may arises at examination centre, to remove the same and theft if any, Centers shall not be responsible for security of belongings of candidates. With jewellery candidate will not be allowed in examination centre.

    • The availability of Rajasthan JET 2020 Admit Card is from June 01, 2020.
    • The mode of availability of the admit card is online.
    • Admit Card can be downloaded from the official site.
    • No admit card will be sent by post or personally to the candidates.

    Candidate can challenge the answer key as per given schedule by paying Rs. 500/- towards processing fees per question, the fees can be paid online through Debit / Credit / Net Banking etc. Candidate should note that the fee paid will be refunded if the challenge is found correct and forfeited if incorrect. However, no challenge will be entertained without receipt of processing fees.
