Phase - III Subsequent Counseling for Vacant / Leftover Seats in Colleges of Education

If the seats after phase-I and phase -II of counselling for B.Ed. course under Govt./ Govt.Aided/ Maintained college of Education and Self- Financing Scheme Colleges of Education still remain vacant, then, next phase of counselling i.e. Phase-III for vacant/ left over seats in all the colleges will be conducted by C.R.S. University, Jind with a late fee of Rs. 1,000/- and every candidate has to apply afresh. The candidate can register online after the last date of admission of Phase-II i.e. 19-09-2019 (after appearing advertisement in news papers/ website). However, their applications will be considered in Phase-III, only if, the seats remain vacant after counselling of Phase-II. In case the need arises, the next counselling i.e. Phase-IV will be conducted with a late fee of Rs. 2,000/- and every candidate has to apply afresh again. The cut off date for last admission will be 30-10-2019 in all respects. The schedule for filling up these vacant seats will be displayed on the website and will also be notified in two national dailies.

Cut off date for eligibility will be the last date / time of online choice filling. 

Note: After subsequent counseling for vacant/leftover seats in colleges of education, no further counselling shall be conducted by the University for admission and no college shall be allowed to make admission beyond 30-10-2019 even if seats remain vacant, to meet the minimum requirement of 200 days compulsory teaching as per NCTE norms. Further the Hon’ble Punjab And Haryana High Court, Chandigarh has decided in the CWP No.-25707 of 2015 that once the last date has been notified by the admission making authority, therefore, there would be no extension under any circumstances.

Eligibility Canditions for Admission to B.Ed. Two Year Regular Course as per NCTE Norms is as under:

Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and / or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences / Social Sciences / Humanity, Bachlor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. 

Note: 

  • There shall be no rounding off of percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility.e. 49.5% and above willnot be rounded off to 50%. 
  • 47.5% marksfor SC / ST candidates of Haryana State only. As per letter dated: 16-07-2014
  • 47.5%marks for Blind / PersonswithDifferentlyAbledand visually / hearing impaired candidate.
  • In case a candidate has passed the MasterDegree Examination also after bachelor degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained in either of the two will be taken into consideration while preparing the merit
  • Compartmentalcandidateswillnotbe allowed admission inB.Ed.(Regular Course) in any case.
  • Cutoff date for eligibility will be the last date / time of online choice filling.
  • One year PG diploma in any subject will not be considered equivalent to Master's Degree.     


Documents for admission

List of documents to be brought at the time of reporting in the institute:

The candidates, at the time of reporting must bring the following original certificates / Documents / Testimonials along with two sets of duly attested photocopies of these with them. Any candidate, who fails to produceanyoftherequiredCertificate / Document / Testimonialatthetimeofreporting the institution, will forfeit his / her claim to admission.

  • QualifyingExamination i.e.BachelorDegree and / or master's Degree or Shastri Degree 3-year (with or without English) / Acharya Degree two year. The candidate will bring the DMCs of all the years of Bachelor and Master Degree or Shastri / Acharya Degree.
  • Matriculation / High School Certificate
  • 10+2 / Intermediate / Senior Secondary School Examination Certificate & Detailed Marks Card.
  • Character Certificate: 
    • Regular Candidates: The candidates who have passed their qualifying exam from College / Department as regular students are required to submit the Character Certificate as per Annexure XIV.
    • Private Candidates: Male candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination as private candidates should submit their Character Certificate, duly signed by a notary public.
    • Gaps in study: Male candidate who have gaps in their academic career after the qualifying exam., must furnish a gap certificate, in the form of affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper or certificate from the employer (if in the service) and should also furnish separately the character certificate of gap period duly attested by notary public.
  • Residents Certificate as per annexure-XI, if applicable: Candidates, who have passed their qualifying examination from a university located in the State of Haryana will be deemed to be Haryana residents and will not be required to submit certificates of bonafide residents of Haryana.
  • Certificate from the Employer in the case of employees of Govt. of Haryana, members of All India Services borne on Haryana Cadre, Employees of Statutory Bodies / Corporations as per Annexure-XII, if applicable.
  • Scheduled Caste Certificate as per annexure-V,if applicable.
  • Backward Class Certificate as per annexure-VI, if applicable and affidavit as per annexure-VII.
  • Special backward Classes certificate as per annexure-VI-A.
  • Economically Backward Persons in General Category Certificate as per annexure-VI-B.
  • Certificate in respect of persons with disabilities candidates as per annexure-VIII, if applicable.
  • Certificate required to be furnished by theChildren & Grand-children of FreedomFighters as perAnnexure-IX, if applicable.
  • CertificatefromEx-ServicemenofIndianDeferenceServicesorPara-MilitaryForces-Annexure-X.
  • ProvisionalAllotmentLetter
  • OriginalReceipt of Registration& Counseling Fee.
  • Printout of Online Application form along with their locked Choice.
