Kaveri University

The youngest university in Telangana State, Kaveri University spans 100 acres on the outskirts of Hyderabad along the Konda Pochamma Reservoir in Gowraram, Wargal Mandal, Siddipet District. In accordance with the National Education Policy 2020, Kaveri University is a ‘Multidisciplinary Education and Research University.’

Founded in 2024, with the mission to explore the physical world collectively, it aims to expand into 14 Colleges offering quality of life. Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctorate and Post-doctoral programs and courses including Agriculture, Horticulture, Community Science, Veterinary Science, Dairy Technology, Fisheries Science, Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Poultry Production, Humanities & Social Sciences, Food Science & Technology, Agri Business Management, Forestry Sciences, Basic Sciences and Vocational Study Programs. are offered, with each college supported by 14 specialised “Centres of Excellence” which provide advanced education, training and research opportunities for students.

Kaveri University’s strength lies in its collaboration with Kaveri Seeds research institutes and also in the combined efforts of the various fields of social sciences and emerging Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies. In this way, scientific breakthroughs can be quickly incorporated into education. In order to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Kaveri University strives to develop and implement pathways of change that address global challenges.
