Usually, the admission process for majority of courses start in the month of May and ends in the month of July. However, for many courses, admission process is through an entrance exam or counseling process. The relevant details for this admission are given below:

To join Merchant Navy as a Cadet you need to clear the Selection test and Interview of the Shipping Company, that would employ you as a cadet in future, you also need to clear the All India Common Entrance test (IMU CET) conducted by Indian Maritime University, Chennai (www.imu.edu.in) |
