Admission 2021 for Ph.D. (Electronics and Communication Engg.)

Usually, the admission process for majority of courses start in the month of April and ends in the month of September. However, for many courses, admission process is through an entrance exam or counseling process. The relevant details for this admission are given below:

Entrance Exam

Eligible candidates need to appear for the entrance exam CSIR UGC NET June 2020 conducted by National Testing Agency.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification Detail
Eligibility: B. Tech/ BE (GATE qualified) in ECE/ EE with a CGPA of at least 7 on a scale of 10 (or equivalent) or 70%. OR MCA/MSc (ECE/EE and allied areas) degree considered equivalent to the B. Tech/BE degree. OR M. Tech/ MS/ ME in ECE/ EE with a CGPA of at least 7 on a scale of 10 (or equivalent) or 70%.

Admission Procedure: Stage 1: Written test: Eligible candidates are required to appear for the written test.

Qualifying score in written test: The minimum qualifying score will be a normalized score

decided taking into account the number of candidates to be called for test, but in no case it
