However, for BBA/BCA/B.Com(Hons.) and B.Sc. IT candidates having secured not less than 50% marks in case of open merit and 45% marks in case of reserved categories (in accordance with SRO”s issued by the State Government from time to time). in aggregate shall be eligible for admission in SEMESTER-1st Batch 2018. The candidates who’s results are yet to be declared by the JKBOSE/CBSE or other boards approved by the competent authorities including re-evaluation / re-checking cases etc. are not eligible for admission in BBA/BCA/B.COM. (HONS.)/ B.SC. IT, B.Sc. (Medical) with Bio-Chemistry and Bio-Technology subjects. However, such candidates shall be allowed admission in B.Sc./B.Com. General course purely on provisional basis on their own risk and responsibility on production of an undertaking to the effect that their provisional admission shall automatically stand cancelled in case they fail to fulfill the eligibility requirements to be determined by reference to their result status (in case they failed in their 12th class examinations their provisional admission in the College shall stand cancelled automatically abi-nitio and for that they shall have no claim whatsoever). For admission to B.Sc. IT Semester 1st only candidates having Mathematics as one of the subjects at 12th class level are eligible. Students seeking admission to Semester-1st Batch 2018 of B.Sc./B.Com. programme should have secured minimum of 45% of marks in case of open merit and 40% marks in case of reserved category (in accordance with SRO’s issued by the State Govt. From time to time) in class XII examination. For admission to Semester-1st Batch 2018 of BCA/BBA/B.Sc.IT programme, students should have secured minimum of 50% marks in 12th class for general category and 45% in case of reserved categories. However, the eligibility of the pass out candidates of 12th class other than JKBOSE/CBSE shall be determined subject to the submission of Original Migration Certificate(s) from respective institutions and equivalence certificate of 12th class from JKBOSE. The College Admission Committee has to check the status of the Boards(s) prior to their admission to the course(s) in the College. The admission of students, with break in their academic career, will be considered. Such of the students may be considered by the College Admission Committee provided the latter feels satisfied about the reasons of the break thereof. Such of the students with break in their academic career will have to attach the affidavit along with the other certificates to the effect that during the intervening period they were not on rolls of the any institutions etc. The selected students have to submit the admission form in the College along with all the documents and deposit the admission fee before the last date notified for the purpose. Student failing to deposit the fee in time shall forfeit the claim for admission and that seat shall be allotted to next student in merit list. The re-admission cases shall be entertained as per statutory provisions.
