Usually, the admission process for majority of courses start in the month of May and ends in the month of July. However, for many courses, admission process is through an entrance exam or counseling process. The relevant details for this admission are given below:

| Eligibility: Candidates for admission to BCA shall require to have passed 10+2 pattern Examination or equivalent from a recognized board with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications as one of the subjects of study. |
Lateral Entry Eligibility: Candidates who have passed Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Technology / Computer Applications in 1stClass (10+3 years of study) from a recognized statuary body (AICTE) and affiliated with a Technical Board, are eligible to apply for the lateral entry to the 2nd year of the course subject to availability of seats, but limited to 10% of the sanctioned intake. |
