Eligibility: As per the direction of the Ministry of AYUSH, admission to the B.H.M.S. course is based on the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), conducted by an authority designated by the Central Government after clearing the 10+2 examination. To be eligible for admission to the undergraduate course for an academic year, a candidate must obtain a minimum of 50th percentile marks in the NEET-UG examination for that academic year. However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), the minimum required marks shall be at the 40th percentile. For candidates with benchmark disabilities, as specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum required marks shall be 45th percentile for the General Category and 40th percentile for SC, ST, and OBC candidates. The percentile shall be determined based on the highest marks secured in the All-India common merit list in the NEET-UG examination.
