Eligibility: Admission for Ph.D. in different subjects of Veterinary Science (Annexure-II) and Ph.D. (Biotechnology) shall be on the basis of merit list (OGPA/percentage of marks) in different subjects of M.V.Sc./M.Sc. examination. However, the requirement of minimum - OGPA / percentage of marks for admission shall be 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks (60%) for general category candidates and 5.50/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks (55%) for reserved category candidates at B.V.Sc. & A.H. and M.V.Sc./B.Sc. and M.Sc. (for admission in Ph.D. in Biotechnology) degree level. In cases where, two or more students obtain equal OGPA/percentage of marks in a subject, the inter-se-merit of such students shall be determined in order of the following preference: a. In cases where, the OGPA/percentage of marks in M.V.Sc./M.Sc. examination are same, then inter-se-merit of such students shall be prepared, on the basis of OGPA/percentage of marks in B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.Sc. examination. b. In cases where, the OGPA/percentage of marks in B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.Sc. examination are same then inter-se-merit of such students shall be prepared, on the basis of percentage of marks in Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12th standard). c. In cases where, the percentage of marks shall be same in Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination, the inter-se-merit of such students shall be prepared on the basis of age of the students.
