Eligibility: Haryana State Technical Education Society has declared that an On Line Entrance Test (OLET) will be conducted for admission to B.E./B.Tech. degree programmes through Lateral Entry scheme. Candidates who wish to appear in OLET for the session 2020-21 are required to visit http://www.onlinetesthry.nic.in/ for more details on OLET and counseling. The State Govt. has ordained that admission in AICTE approved institutes offering Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) LEET programmes shall be made on the basis of OLET-2020 Ranking. Admissions can also be made on the basis of Diploma results subject to minimum eligibility as declared by Haryana State Technical Education Society in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Admission Brochure 2020-21. Registration is also open for the institute-level admission. The candidates are advised to call the Admission Helpline and visit the Admission Office of the institute. Minimum Academic Qualifications for Admission to 2nd year (3rd Semester) of Bachelor of Technology ( B.Tech.) Courses: A. Obtained at least 45% marks (42.75% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) in aggregate in Diploma in Engg./ Technology of a duration of 3 years or more from Haryana State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent. B. Passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (42.75% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject. C. Provided that in case of students belonging to B.Sc stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second Year subjects. D. Provided further that, the students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream. E. Provided further those students, who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology from an AICTE/UGC approved instt. On or B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. However, the admissions shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned in A, B, D and E above.
