There are some guidelines/details that must be pondered upon before the candidates start filling their application forms for the Common Law Admission Test 2020 or CLAT 2020 in short. These guidelines will be mentioned in this article.
The application for the CLAT 2020 examination will only be available via the online medium. Direct applications will not be accepted by any means or forms and people or organizations who claim to do the procedure in any other manner will be treated as criminal and should be brought to the notice of the authorities.
The forms will only be available from the first week of January 2020 and it is crucial for all candidates to pay extra attention while filling the form and making sure to double-check as there will be no way to edit them and any discrepancies in the details will lead to the rejection of forms or cancellation of admission in the case the enrolment department misses it.
All candidates are required to have a unique email address for the sake of application form as this will be the email address which will be carrying out all the communication for the entire procedures which will follow for registrations. You will also need to have scanned copies of documents, signature and passport size photographs which will be required to be uploaded once you create your login ID. It is also advised that you take a printout of your application form and keep it with you till all the procedures for admission are over.
The last thing you need to keep in mind about the application process is the application fee which is the fee that you pay for your application to be registered in the CLAT 2020 database. If you fail to pay this fee you will not be able to give the examination as your admit card will not be generated. This application fee can only be paid online via debit cards or credit cards. The fee for the General / OBC / PWD / SAP category will be Rs. 4000 and that for SC and ST category will be Rs. 3500.
