Haryana MBBS/BDS admission process

In Haryana, the admission and counseling process for filling Undergraduate Medical/dental seats are administered by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana. The aim is to fill the tentative 1585 seats in the medical colleges and 850 seats in the dental colleges of Haryana state. The admission to these seats will be based on the NEET 2026 score. Out of these seats, 85% seats are state quota seats for which DMER, Haryana will organize centralized counselling based on state merit rank derived from NEET scores and 15% are AIQ seats which will be filled by MCC on the basis of NEET 2026

Score.

Admission Process

For admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Haryana, the online registration process will start on  28/08/2026. Candidates can submit the duly filled application form till 31/08/2026 11:55 pm.

Registration:

While filling the application form, candidates need to register themselves by creating the login id and password. Candidates must then submit the correct contact details, name and DOB to complete the registration.

Filling the details:

After successful registration, candidates are required to fill their personal and academic details like NEET score and rank, domicile, category etc.

Uploading documents:

Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature along with the prescribed documents.

1st round of counselling

Registration on the online web portal 28.08.2026 to 31.08.2026 (till 11.59 PM)
Editing (if any) of information submitted online / Submission of choices (Online) and choice locking 28.08.2026 to 31.08.2026 (till 11.59 PM)
Provisional allocation of seats 02.09.2026
Grievances, if any on the provisional allocation list 02.09.2026
Display of allocation list after redressal of grievances  02.09.2026

2nd round of counselling:

Counselling Process

After document verification, the admission authority will publish the list of eligible or ineligible candidates for counseling. The list will be prepared on the basis of NEET-2026 score of registered candidates and it would include the details like name, roll number, NEET overall AIR, NEET marks, percentile, and date of birth.

Round-I:

To participate in the first round of counseling, the candidates whose names are listed in the state merit list will be required to fill their choices from 28.08.2026 to 31.08.2026 (till 11.59 PM) of colleges as well courses, in which they want to get admission. Based on these choices and courses filled, NEET score & rank, seats availability and reservation criteria, Haryana MBBS/BDS 2026 admission will be granted for 85% state quota seats for round-I.

DMER, Haryana will publish the result of seat allotment for first round on 02/09/2026. 

At the time of reporting, those candidates who wish to opt for up gradation to round-II or willing to withdraw from the admission granted, will attend the second round of counseling after completing the admission process for round-I.

Round-II:

After round-I of counseling, the counseling authority will conduct a second round of counseling  to fill the vacant seats. Candidates who will not be allotted seats in first round of counseling or willing for upgradation in second round of counseling can attend the round-II and need not to register again. Fresh registrations will also be allowed in second round and will be required to register according to the process.

· The candidate who joins the seat granted in round-II, will not be eligible to participate in mop up round of counseling.

Mop up round

Candidates who will not be allotted seats in round-II can attend the mop up round  & stray round.
