New UG Question Paper format for CLAT 2023 Exam

CLAT 2023 for UG courses will be conducted on 18 December 2023. Registration is open and will close on 18-November-2023. There has been a change in the type of question papers this year as well as in the number of questions for each section.

Some of the salient features for CLAT 2023 Exam are given below:
The Maximum Marks for CLAT 2023 for UG exam are 150
The duration of CLAT 2023 Exam is 2 hours
The format of CLAT 2023 is Multiple-Choice Questions
There will be 150 questions of one mark each
There will be negative marking; 0.25 marks for each wrong answer will be deducted

There is a rough subject areas with weightage given in the prospectus for CLAT UG 2023 exam as under:

For English Language there will be approximately 28-32 questions (roughly 20% of the paper).
For Current Affairs including General Knowledge there will be approximately 35-39 questions (roughly 25% of the paper).
In the Legal Reasoning section, there will be approx. 35-39 questions, (roughly 25% of the paper).
In Logical Reasoning section, there will be 28-32 questions (roughly 20% of the paper).
For Quantitative Techniques approx. there will be 13-17 questions or roughly 10% of the paper.
