New UG Question Paper format for CLAT 2023 Exam
CLAT 2023 for UG courses will be conducted on 18 December 2023. Registration is open and will close on 18-November-2023. There has been a change in the type of question papers this year as well as in the number of questions for each section.
- Some of the salient features for CLAT 2023 Exam are given below:
- The Maximum Marks for CLAT 2023 for UG exam are 150
- The duration of CLAT 2023 Exam is 2 hours
- The format of CLAT 2023 is Multiple-Choice Questions
- There will be 150 questions of one mark each
- There will be negative marking; 0.25 marks for each wrong answer will be deducted
There is a rough subject areas with weightage given in the prospectus for CLAT UG 2023 exam as under:
- For English Language there will be approximately 28-32 questions (roughly 20% of the paper).
- For Current Affairs including General Knowledge there will be approximately 35-39 questions (roughly 25% of the paper).
- In the Legal Reasoning section, there will be approx. 35-39 questions, (roughly 25% of the paper).
- In Logical Reasoning section, there will be 28-32 questions (roughly 20% of the paper).
- For Quantitative Techniques approx. there will be 13-17 questions or roughly 10% of the paper.
