Know What’s New for 2020 CBSE Board Exam

Students who are to appear for the 10th and the 12th standard examinations under the Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE will experience certain changes and alterations in the frame, structure and also the nature of the examinations. These are the changes introduced so that the student’s analytical skills can be honed better. The following are some of these changes that have been initiated by the Board of CBSE.

  • The CBSE Exams dates are now to be conducted a little earlier as compared to what was in practice in the earlier times. The practical exams will get proponent and will get held by December whereas the main exams will be held by the month of February. The Main papers are to get over by March so that the results can get released at an earlier date. This is how the students will get a greater amount of time for preparing for the competitive exams of JEE and NEET. Students of general genre can also prepare for better colleges all over the nation.
  • The Board from now on is to give a greater amount of importance to internal assessment for the students. The CBSE Board Examination papers will also see a major change in terms of their question structure and also marks pattern.
  • The students will be discouraged from rote learning alone for the CBSE Exam 2020. The teaching pattern will now lay greater stress on developing the reasoning and analytical skills and abilities of the students.
