If you don’t clear the JEE Advanced or have decided not to take JEE Advanced, its not the end of the road. There are some engineering colleges, which have an entrance exam of their own. VIT, BITS and a few more have their own entrance exam and might not accept JEE Mains as its primary mode of enrolling students. Some states also don’t accept JEE Main marks and conduct their own Exams.
