Additional 400 MBBS Seats to Address Doctors Crunch

In order to cater to the crunch of qualified MBBS doctors and to provide better healthcare facilities to the citizens, 400 seats have been added to different campuses of AIIMS ( All India Institute of Medical Sciences) all over the country. This has been confirmed by the prospectus released by AIIMS for the academic year 2019 – 2020. Out of these 400 seats, 50 each will be allotted to the new branches of the institutes i.e. Raebareli, Kalyani, Gorakhpur, Bhatinda, Deogarh & Telangana. Another

50 additional MBBS seats have been added to both, AIIMS Guntur (Mangalgiri) & AIIMS Nagpur campuses, taking the total count of seats in these two colleges to 100 each.

This increase in the seats from 807 (of last year) to more than 1000 in 2019-2020 will definitely be welcomed by the medical aspirants. The 15 AIIMS campuses will be beginning their registrations for MBBS on November 30,2019.
