Important news for the youth who are preparing for the Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission in management colleges. This time CAT 2022 will be organized by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore on November 27. The official notification of CAT in this regard has been issued yesterday i.e. 31st July.
Students who want to appear in this exam can register on the official website of IIM CAT from 3rd August. Every year more than 2.3 lakh students apply for this exam for admission in management institutes. Admission to 20 IIMs and more than 1,000 management institutes in India is done through CAT. General category candidates applying for CAT must have passed with 50 per cent marks in graduation from any recognized university. At the same time, it is mandatory for reserved category candidates to pass with only 45 per cent marks.
According to IIM Bangalore, general category candidates have to deposit Rs 2,300 as an application fee and reserved category candidates have to deposit Rs 1,150. The application process for CAT will start on 3rd August at 10:00 AM and the last date of application is 14th September at 5:00 PM. Candidates are advised to apply after the application starts and do not wait till the last date. Admit card for CAT will be released on 27 October on the official website of IIM CAT. Candidates can select any six cities out of 150 cities to take the exam while applying.
