CLAT 2027 Registration Schedule Announced
The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) has released the official notification for CLAT Admission 2026. Candidates who wish to take part in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) will be able to apply for this entrance examination from 03 August, 2026. The deadline for online registration and fee submission is set for 31 October 2026. Candidates can find more information regarding eligibility and fees below.
Educational Qualification Required for CLAT UG and PG
To apply for the CLAT entrance examination, candidates must have passed the 12th class from a recognised institution in India. Additionally, it is necessary for students to have obtained a minimum of 45 per cent marks in their 12th class examination. Furthermore, to gain admission to postgraduate courses, candidates must possess an LLB degree and other specified qualifications.
CLAT 2027 Exam to Be Held on 6 December
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) will be conducted at various examination centres across the country on 06 December 2026. The examination will be conducted in a single shift from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. In this entrance exam, candidates will be asked 120 questions for a total of 120 marks. The examination will be held in English. The duration of the exam has been set at two hours. There will also be a negative marking of one-quarter of a mark for each incorrect answer.
