CTET 2026 Exam Postponed by CBSE
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was scheduled to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 06 September, 2026. However, the CTET examination has been postponed by the CBSE. Candidates preparing for the CTET are eagerly awaiting the new examination date.
The new exam date for the CTET Paper-1 and Paper-2 examination may be released at any time. In this regard, all candidates are advised to keep visiting the CBSE website periodically for updates on the examination date.
When Will the CTET Admit Card 2026 Be Released?
The Exam City Slip and Admit Card will also be announced after the CTET exam date is released by the CBSE. The Exam City Slip may be released 10 to 15 days before the examination, and the admit card 4 days before. Once the admit card is released, candidates will be able to download it using the steps provided here.
How to Download CTET Admit Card 2026
- To download the admit card, candidates must first visit the official CBSE website, ctet.nic.in.
- On the website's homepage, you will need to click on the LATEST NEWS section.
- After this, you must click on the CTET Admit Card 2026 link.
- Once you have clicked the link, you will need to enter the required details.
- After entering the login details, the admit card will open on the screen.
- Finally, take a printout of it.
CTET 2026 Exam Pattern
The CTET examination will consist of two papers. The format for both papers has been set out differently. In the Paper-1 examination, candidates will be asked 150 questions worth 150 marks from the subjects of Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language-I and Language-II. In Paper-2, candidates will be asked 150 questions worth 150 marks from Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Science, or Social Studies/Social Science, Language-I and Language-II.
