CTET Result 2026
Millions of candidates who appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 are eagerly waiting for their results, and this wait may finally be over soon. As per media reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the CTET 2026 result within this week.
Results will be available online only
The CTET February 2026 result will be released only in online mode on the official website ctet.nic.in.
No result information will be provided through offline methods such as post, SMS, or notice boards, so candidates must check their results via the official portal.
How to download your CTET 2026 scorecard
Once CBSE announces the result, candidates can check their scores and download the scorecard by following these steps:
- Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link for CTET February 2026 Result/Scorecard.
- Enter your Roll Number and click on the Login button.
- Your scorecard will appear on the screen; you can view, download, and print it for future use.
CTET 2026 passing marks
To be treated as qualified in CTET, candidates must secure the minimum marks prescribed for their category:
- General (UR): 60% of the total marks
- OBC, SC, ST, PwD: 55% of the total marks
Candidates who clear Paper 1 become eligible to teach Classes 1 to 5, while those who qualify Paper 2 are eligible to teach Classes 6 to 8.
CTET certificate validity
A major advantage for candidates is that the CTET scorecard/certificate is now valid for a lifetime. This means that once you qualify CTET, you do not need to appear for the exam again just to renew your eligibility. You can use the same certificate in future teacher recruitment processes whenever required.
