Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate 2022 (CUET-UG) has received 7.4 lakh unique completed registrations and there is around 5.1 lakh candidates who have registered for the test but are yet to make the online payment to complete the process, once this is completed Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate 2022 (CUET-UG) will become one of the biggest entrance tests of the country bypassing registration of around 9.1 lakh for JEE (Main). NEET-UG's average registration count for the past three years is 16 lakh.
The cumulative university-wise application count is going towards 35 lakh according to NTA. CUET-UG offers a single window to apply to multiple universities and courses. As per the ongoing trend, a candidate on average has opted for five universities. If all goes according to the trend, NTA expects this to cross 50 lakh in the coming 10 days.
