Recently the National Board of Examination or the NBE has realized the date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or the NEET exam for the post graduation level. The NBE has arranged the exams for 18th April 2021 in different places. The exam will be computer-based. The candidates who will fulfill the eligibility criteria can appear for the exam. Candidates must have their MBBS degree and also an internship certificate. The internship must be completed before or on 30th June 2021.
Previously the date was scheduled on 10th January but the NBE has rescheduled the date. This exam will be for three hours and thirty minutes long having a total of 300 objective questions for the applicants. The students will obtain 4 marks for every correct answer and will be reduced 1 mark if answered wrong. There is no negative marking for leaving a question without a response.
The NEB conducts the exam in almost 165 cities. In the previous year of 2019, the number of appearing applicants was near about 1.47 Lakh. Candidates can get admission in courses like – Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (DM) through the NEET exam. Candidates passing the exams with an appropriate rank will get the chance to study in government, private, central, and deemed universities.
