HRD launches Portal To Verify B.Ed, M.Ed Certificates

The Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal on 26th July launched an online portal which has the facility for students who have cleared teacher education degrees or courses like B.El.Ed, D.El.Ed, B.Ed, M.Ed etc to get their verification certificates online. Students who have studied in any part of the country need to get their certificates verified before applying for a teaching job, as the process used to be done manually. Now with the help of the portal http://ncte.gov.in/OTPRMS , candidates can get their verification certificates online within three-five days. 

Only those students who are from authentic institutes will get certificates. A fee of Rs 200 per certificate is applicable. Students who want to obtain certificates need to register their information at the official website, http://ncte.gov.in/OTPRMS . The portal is called online teacher-pupil registration management system (OPTRMS).
