The CA exam which was supposed to be held on 9th November 2019, has been postponed to a later date, yet to be announced. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has decided that the CA paper for the foundation of paper 1 and paper 5 will be postponed to a later date. The reason for such a decision to be taken is the fact that a lot of schools and colleges were closed on the day. This led to the ICAI releasing a notice about delaying the exam a little further.
As per the reports are given out by media a lot of cities have been affected by the decision which are Uttar Pradesh, Jammu, Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and so on. Most of the college and School in certain areas have opted out to stay close till Monday 11th November 2019.
It should be noted by the students that only the exams that were scheduled for November 9, will be the only exams to be postponed from their original dates and all the other exams will be conducted as per the schedule. If there is a change in exam date or schedule then the ICAI will provide for an official announcement. Until then all the exams will be carried forward as per the date sheet provided by the ICAI.
