Kerala University to conduct exams from June 2

The University of Kerala is going to conduct its examination from June 2 and the exam centres will be set up across the state and also in Lakshadweep. The schedule of the exam is from June 2 to June 12, which will be held adhering to the COVID-19 prevention guidelines. Checks will be conducted in the colleges by the team comprising Syndicate and Senate members to ensure that the guidelines are strictly followed.

Classrooms and the exam halls in the colleges which were remained shut for a long time will be disinfected before the exam and after the exam as well. Only one entry point will be allowed for the exam. Wearing a mask is necessary for every student, although soap and water will be provided at the entrance of the exam centre.

A special room will be allotted for all those students who are coming from the containment zones. Sanitizers will be provided at the exam hall. The students should ensure the physical distance of at least one metre in the exam hall. Financial assistance will be provided to the colleges to conduct the exam. As much as C1,000 and C 500 will be provided to exam centres with over 500 candidates and centres with less than 500 candidates respectively.
