NCHM JEE 2026 Registration Date Extended

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for applications for the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE 2026). Interested candidates can now apply online for this exam until March 25, 2026. The registration process is ongoing on the official website exams.nta.nic.in/nchm-jee/.
According to the information released by the NTA, the exam will be conducted on April 25, 2026. This exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in 120 examination cities across the country. The exam time is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Which institutions will offer admission?

This entrance examination provides admission to prestigious institutions related to hotel management. Admission will be granted to the following institutions through this examination:

• 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management
• 33 State Government-run Institutions
• 1 Public Sector Undertaking (PSU)
• 2 SIHMs operating on PPP mode
• 25 Private Hotel Management Institutions

Application Fee

The application fee is determined as follows, based on the category:

• General and OBC-NCL category: Rs. 1000
• General-Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Rs. 700
• Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Third Gender: Rs. 450

The application fee will be paid online.

NCHM JEE 2026 Exam Pattern:

According to the exam pattern, a total of 120 questions will be asked in the examination. These questions will be from five different sections:

• English Language
• Aptitude for Service Sector
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs
• Reasoning and Logical Deduction
• Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude

4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
