The results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by National Testing Agency
on May 5 and May 20 (in Odisha), will be declared by 5 June(Wednesday).
The NEET medical merit list and the NEET dental merit list 2019 will be released as per the
guidelines of DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare, MCI (Medical Council of India) and DCI (Dental Council of India).
The qualifying score of the general category candidates is 50 percent, for PwD candidates it
is 45 percent and for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category the qualifying score is
40 percent.
The NEET counselling as per the merit list will tentatively start in second week of June 2019.
It will be conducted in the online mode by DGHS. The counselling will be held for admission
to 15% seats in all the government colleges other than of the Jammu and Kashmir state,
seats at AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College) Pune, Seats of all Deemed and Central
Universities, seats which have been reserved for children of persons who are insured in ESIC
(Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) medical colleges. Rest of the 85% seats fall under
the state quota and hence the counselling for these is conducted by respective state
authorities along with the counselling of the private colleges.
