National Institute of Fashion Technology is the hub of education for fashion design related courses in India. To get an admission one has to appear for NIFT entrance exam. To appear for the entrance exam (B. Des), a person must have: cleared 10+2 level exams from any recognized central/state board of Secondary Examination. a merit list is prepared and then admission takes place for all the NIFT campuses spread across the country
Proposal for setting up new NIFT campuses at
Panchkula and Ranchi have been cleared by the Board of Governors of the
institute. At present, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has 16
campuses all over India.
