NIRF 2025 ranking has been released in a total of 17 categories. These include Overall, University, College, Research Institution, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Medical, Dental, Law, Architecture and Planning, Agriculture and Allied Sectors, Innovation, Open University, Skill University, State Public University, SDG or Sustainability.

Why is NIRF ranking important?
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) evaluates higher education institutions in different categories and subjects every year. It includes universities, colleges, research institutions, management, medical, law, pharmacy and even agriculture.
