Scholarships to 400 Syrian students by India

India has funded for 400 Syrian students of Syrian University to study at various universities across the country. As per Indian government initiative to build closer bonds between India & Syria, India has offered full paid scholarships to 400 students for undergraduate & post graduate courses. Indian government has provided the flight tickets to students as a goodwill gesture. India has extended its support for the sovereignty & territorial integrity of Syria, which on its part, has backed India on the Kashmir issue on all international forums.
