The court has given its decision on the hearing in the matter of the NEET-Re exam in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has set aside the Bombay HC order on NEET UG exam for two students. On September 12, 2021, NTA conducted the NEET UG 2021 exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and BSMS programs across the country. After that a petition was filed by two students of Solapur district that due to the negligence of the invigilator, they had received mismatched text booklet and answer sheet during the examination. The petitioners submitted that the test booklet and the answer booklet given to them were not matching, when the candidates immediately informed the room invigilators, no hearing took place. After this, the students filed a petition in this regard in the Bombay High Court. The Bombay High Court then gave orders to NTA to conduct the re-examination for the petitioners Vaishnavi Bhopale and Abhishek Kapse and also declare their results in two weeks.
While hearing the petition filed for conducting a re-examination of two students, the Supreme Court of the country has said, 'We sympathize with both the students, but we cannot order re-examination for two students. After this decision, MCC may soon release the dates of NEET counseling.
