The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) had released the official notification regarding the postgraduate admission for the academic year 2020-21, on their official website. The notice has given several guidelines for the application process and also states that the last date has been extended till May 10, 2020, to apply for PG courses in the institute. The interested candidates can apply online till 4 pm on May 10.
The notice also says that the tests for PG admissions have been revised and now the exams will be conducted from May 18 to June 17. This has been done due to the nationwide lockdown amid the coronavirus outbreak. The selection for MTech/MDes is being done on the basis of GATE or CEED score with the shortlisting criteria which have been set at the institute minimum for all the categories.
The official notice released by the institute reads,” The interviews (via videoconferencing) to be conducted for candidates who are valid applicants but do not have a GATE/CEED score (IIT graduates with CGPA more than or equal to 8.00 part-time, sponsored and international candidates.”
Further, the notice says that the interviews conducted for PhD admission will also take place through the online video conferencing method.
