The candidate seeking admission must: The minimum age for the admission shall be 17 years on 31 December of the year in which the admission is sought. 10+2 classes passed with Science (PCB) & English subject as mandatory with minimum 45% Student should be medically fit

Eligibility
The candidate seeking admission must: Hold a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM). Be a registered nurse and midwife. Have passed a pre-university examination in the Arts/Science/Commerce conducted by the Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Be medically fit (should produce a medical fitness certificate from a recognized and licensed physician).

Nursing of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka(RGUHS), or any other university accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks. In respect of candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe, the aggregate marks obtained should not be less than 50% instead of 55% as above. A minimum of 1 year of experience after obtaining B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) or a minimum of one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing Degree or Post Certificate B. Sc. Nursing in a hospital or a Nursing educational institution, which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Registered in State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
