Eligibility
Candidates having 50% marks in Graduation are eligible to apply (45% marks for SC/ST and handicapped with at least 40% disability). The students who are in their final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply, subject to their obtaining 50% marks at the time of admission. Admission is based on entrance test conducted by the University. The intimation for the test would be given in first week of June. The merit list would be prepared by giving 85% weight age to marks in entrance test and 15% to group discussion.

Admission will be based on merit list prepared on the basis of weight age to academic performance in graduation (85%) and to interview and group discussion (15%).

A candidate seeking admission to Ph.D. Program must satisfy the following requirements: (i) Master's degree in the concerned / related subject (as determined by the Departmental Research Board) with 55% marks at Master's Degree and 50% marks at Bachelor's Degree Level. (SC candidates will get 5% relaxation in post graduation marks, as per rules). OR (ii) First Class Master Degree in Business Management / Computer Applications (MCA) / Master in Pharmacy / Engineering and Technology (M.Tech.) OR (iii) M.Phil./M.Litt. Degree with B + or equivalent grade. OR (iv) In case of Defense Personnel who have received Master's Degree on the basis of staff-college, the candidate must have received at least 60% marks in the Master's Degree. OR (v) Candidates who have passed CA / ICWA / Company Education Examinations are eligible for Ph.D. Program
