Eligibility
Eligibility for admission to the course is based on the guidelines of the Government of Tamilnadu and Tamilnadu Teachers Education University in force from time to time. Admission Guidelines as per G.O. (1D) No.168, HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, DATED 07.07.2015 released by Government of Tamilnadu.

Eligibility
Candidates who have passed their degree in their basic faculty and have passed B.Ed. degree examination of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University or any other university equivalent to it alone are eligible for admission to the M.Ed course.

Eligibility
Candidates who have passed their degree in their basic faculty and have passed M.Ed. degree examination of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University or any other university equivalent to it alone are eligible for admission to the M.Phil course.

Eligibility
A candidate who has qualified for the Master’s Degree in Education or M.Phil. Degree in Education of the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University or any other University recognized by the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University as equivalent thereto is eligible to register for Ph.D. course. The rules and regulations for registering for Ph.D. are given in the regulations of the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. For all the above courses, reservation of seats and other concessions for the various communities and special categories will be in accordance with the statutory provisions of the Government of Tamil Nadu in force from time to time. There is no upper age limit for admission to the above programmes.
