MCAER PG CET 2020 Exam - Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Pattern
Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research, Common Entrance Test For Admission To Post Graduate Programme In Agricultural 2020 or MCAER PG CET 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to M.Sc. (Agriculture), M.Sc. (Horticulture), M.Sc. (Forestry), M.Sc. (Home Science), M.Sc. (Agriculture Biotechnology) and other courses. MCAER PG CET 2020 is conducted by Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research.
MCAER PG CET for the year 2020 has been announced by Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research and will be held from 14/03/2020 to 16/03/2020. The application forms will be available from 09/12/2019 till 11/01/2020. The exam is in written mode. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. It is being conducted in English language. Admit card will be available from 04/03/2020. Result is expected to be announced on 28/03/2020.

Application Form Filling Instructions
General Instructions for filling up the Application Form
Students applying for the MCAER PG CET 2020 have to fill up the application form on the official site. A student can submit the application for only once; multiple forms will be rejected.
Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form of MCAER PG CET 2020
- PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity
- Qualification details
- Fill the Online Application Form carefully and upload scanned photograph and signature (Size of Photograph and Signature should not be greater than 35KB, 30KB respectively).
- Functional e-mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
- Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
- For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net B facility, Credit Cards & Debit Cards Service is a must.
- The printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-café.
- It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.
Candidates are not allowed to make any corrections at a later stage after submission of an application. O correction is entertained via post, fax, email or by hand.
The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the MCAER PG CET 2020
Step-1: Students have register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created.
Step-2: Student has to Complete the Application Form and its various sections
Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature.
Step-4: Payments have to be made by Cards/ Debit Cards / Net Banking.
Candidates are advised not to send a hardcopy of the application to JMI. However, they are advised to retain hard copy of the application form which they may print after logging into the admission portal.

Examination Day Instructions
- Failure of the candidate in making full and correct statements in the application form and / or suppression of any information would lead to disqualification of the candidate. Such candidate will be debarred from the examination / entire selection process.
- The candidate has to scrupulously follow the instructions given by the supervisors / invigilators at all the stages of examination. Violation of such instructions may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Calculators, books, notebooks, written notes, pagers, mobile phones and any other electronic gadget is not allowed inside the examination hall. Candidate found possessing such material whether in use or otherwise will be deemed to have been using unfair means and would be liable to disciplinary action.
- Adopting unfair means or engaging in malpractice in the examination shall render a candidate liable for punishment under “Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices Act, Universities, Board and Other Specified Examination Act, 1982” and disqualify him / her.
- Any issue not dealt with here-in above will be dealt with, when arising, fully and finally by the competent authority.
- Student should produce his identity proof at the time of examination issued by any Govt. authority like Aadhar Card, Election Card, Pan Card, Driving License, College ID, etc.
