Admission 2025 for Ph.D.
Usually, the admission process for majority of courses start in the month of April and ends in the month of September. However, for many courses, admission process is through an entrance exam or counseling process. The relevant details for this admission are given below:
Registration and Application
Interested candidates can apply Both (Online and Offline), by filling up the required form and submitting online or offline as required.
Eligibility Criteria

| Eligibility: M.Tech./M.E./Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks. Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates. Candidates can apply only in one department. |
Selection Process:
All candidates shall have to appear for Research Entrance Test (RET) to be organized by NIFTEM in its campus followed by interview for the candidates who qualify RET. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of RET (70% weightage) and interview (30% weightage). Due weightage will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates. |
