B.Sc Nursing in Rajasthan is a four year course and very popular amongst students. In Rajasthan, there are more than 200 nursing colleges offering more than 6700 seats  for B.Sc Nursing Course. Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur conducts the state level entrance exam for selection to B.Sc. Nursing (4 year) Course. 

One has to clear this exam to  qualify for admission to 100% of the sanctioned seats in various Government Nursing Colleges of Rajasthan), 100% of the sanctioned seats in Government self-financed nursing colleges and only 50% of the sanctioned seats in Private nursing colleges  affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur.

Eligibility Criteria for RUHS B.Sc Nursing Admission

Educational Qualification

• Must have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate exam or equivalent in Science-Medical group conducted by a recognized Board.
• Minimum 45% and 40% for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates.
• Must complete 17 years but not complete 28 years for females and 25 years for males on or before 31st December of the selection year.

Seat Allocation for B.Sc Nursing in Rajasthan

The seat allocations is applicable for: 

1. Govt. College of Nursing, Jaipur, 
2. Govt. self financed nursing colleges 
3. Private nursing colleges of Rajasthan State. 

15% of the seats are for all India Students.

85% of the total seats are for Bona fide candidates of Rajasthan 

16% are for SC

12% for ST

21% for ST-STA

5% of 15% for other categories. 

The percentage of female candidates will always be 50% or more of the total seats in all categories.

Bona Fide student of Rajasthan: Student must have studied for last three years as regular students in Rajasthan.

Admission Procedure for B.Sc Nursing in Rajasthan

1. Register for the Online Exam
2. Take the Entrance Exam
3. Get a good ranking in the Entrance Exam
4. The admission is given strictly in accordance with merit list prepared.
5. This merit is based on marks obtained in on-line entrance Examination
6. Once the result is out the candidate will have to participate in the counselling process for allotment of a nursing college according to your choice as well marks obtained.

Counselling Procedure for B.Sc Nursing in Rajasthan

A merit list with the score of online admission examination is the basis of counselling.

The Counselling is in two rounds. 

First Round

1. Login in with your previous ID and password
2. Download challan
3. Pay Rs. 10,000/- counselling fees at the mentioned bank.
4. Upload the Challan after paying the fees.
5. Fill up the choices of colleges you prefer
6. The choices will get locked on the last date of counselling.
7. Seat allotment will be made according to your choices.
8. Counselling results will be announced on the official website.
9. Allotment letter should be printed by successful candidates.
10. Candidate will report to the allotted college for admission.
11. Documents will be checked.
12. Pay the fees and join the college.
13. Candidate will go to his login and change his willingness to participate in Second Round upgradation.
14. Click NO if you do not want a change.
15. Click Yes if you want one. 
16. If you do not click on yes or no, you will be considered for upgradation for second round automatically.
17. Willingness to participate in second round as YES will mean that if you are allotted a different seat in Second Round, your earlier seat allotted  in the first round will be cancelled.

Second Round

Seat Allotment will be made for who filled choices in first round, but were not allotted any seat in first round or who were allotted seat in first round, reported at allotted college and opted to participate in second round.

Once the seat is allotted, candidate will report to the allotted college and get admitted after checking of documents.
