A multiple-choice objective exam, CUET (Common University Entrance Test), is conducted by the National Testing Authority (NTA). The test has been introduced by the Ministry of Education. 2022-23 onward, it now stands as the basis for getting entry into all undergraduate programmes - at Central universities as well as participating universities.
This is a computer-based test and it is offered in different languages. It is based on the Class 12 board exam syllabus. In 2026, it will be held only in the computer mode. CUET UG 2026 Exam Date
In 2026, the tentative CUET UG 2026 exam date is 11th – 31st May. The timing of the exam is still unknown, and you will be notified later through the official website for CUET (Common University Entrance Test).
The CUET UG form date 2025 was from March 1 to March 24, 2025. CUET UG 2026 Exam Schedule
Each test paper will have a duration of 60 minutes. The exam may be held in more than one shift, based in how many candidates appear and what their subject option combination will be. Even if the tests are scheduled in multiple shifts, each test held within such shift will vary from each other. In other words, each test will be held independently.
