Tips For Answering In The Best Way In CBSE Board Exams

Despite studying everything in your syllabus, if you can't place all of your information on your answer sheet in the right way, all of your hard work is in vain. It is a well-observed fact that students frequently become anxious when sitting in the examination hall. The pressure is so overwhelming that during the exam, they seem to forget what they have learned. While it is normal for all, it can be made simple by following a few helpful tips when sitting in the exam hall and writing your paper.

Let's look at some tips and techniques to help you plan and try the best way possible for your test.

1. Using the extra 15 minutes to make the right use of:

Nearly all school boards have adopted the idea of an extra 15 minutes for the board exams. This additional time is given for students to carefully read the questions and draft a strategy in their mind about how they can correctly solve the paper without panicking. So, students need to use these 15 minutes very carefully to make a plan for writing their test calmly.

2. Set a goal:

List the questions that you are most sure about. No need to stress that you've to answer all the questions as chronologically as typed in the question paper. Firstly, write down those responses that you know well. This will help you build trust in your performance and allow you to spare enough time to consider the answers to other questions that are a little blurred in your mind.

3. Write a brief response to each question:

Carefully read and comprehend the meaning of each question. Try to avoid writing huge paragraphs that describe something that either does not need to be explained or has not even been requested. Keep the answers to the point.

4. Try to answer all the questions:

As we know, in CBSE board examinations, there is no negative marking for wrong responses. So don't be afraid to answer questions you're confused about since you don't have anything to lose. Read the questions thoroughly. Try to understand the question's genre and what it demands. If you know the answer, write it down instantly. Use your brain to make a smart guess if you don't know the answer to any specific question. Remember, examiners are always looking for scopes where they can give you marks.

5. No decoration in the answer sheet:

It is noticed that many students have a habit of colouring their answer sheets with blue, green, and black markers for headings and underlining each of them. Doing this decorative work will not earn you any additional marks, but it will definitely take away the precious time you could have used to think and write the answers to the questions you left for the end. Only two pens are enough; a blue pen to write the text and a black pen for the headings. It would be best if you always use a pencil while drawing diagrams. It would keep your answer sheet simple and give you time to write more as well.

6. Don't get nervous:

It's not possible to know everything for anyone. There will always be some questions that you find difficult or unknown. Do not panic or be afraid at such times. It can have a negative effect on your brain, leaving your mind entirely blank so that you won't even be able to answer the questions you know. Be calm and concentrate on the question paper only. You're going to have plenty of time to think and frame all the answers. All you need is to stay calm and write according to each question's demand.

And last but not least, do not forget to check your answer sheet twice after you have completed the paper. We come across stupid errors many times while counting the responses that could have been easily avoided if they were checked. Check if there are any questions you have skipped. Before handing over the sheet to the examiner, make sure you have written your roll number and other important information correctly.

So we hope that these crucial techniques will help you secure the marks you deserve in the board exam. These methods will also assist you in finishing your paper within time. Only give your best without thinking about the results.

Good luck!
