Govt Sets Up Vaccine Centre For People Travelling Abroad For Studies, Job

The second dosage of corona virus vaccination Covishield can be carried out on people travelling abroad for job, education and learning or sports prior to the recommended 84 days period, the government claimed in a statement.The Health Ministry however said that the 2nd dosage needs to be provided after a minimum of 28 days.

 

The step will certainly help individuals travelling abroad within the 84 days period for studies or job. Documents related to travel will be validated prior to the vaccine is administered, the order said.

 

The Delhi government on Monday started an unique vaccination centre in the city for students, professional athletes and individuals who need to travel abroad for work. 

Those taking a trip abroad for these particular reasons can obtain their 2nd dosage of Covishield vaccine at this specific centre after a void of just 28 days. The centre has been established at the Navyug School on Mandir Marg. Those who wish to make use of the center will certainly need to bring their passports and also relevant travel papers.

 

The 2nd dose of Covishield vaccination can be taken after a gap of 28 to 84 days at this centre by students that have to go abroad for research or studies, people to work in foreign countries as well as professional athletes, sportspersons and accompanying staff of the Indian contingent participating in the International Olympics to be held in Tokyo.
