VITEEE Exam: Important Dates, Exam Pattern and Placements

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is a  university-level exam organised by the Vellore Institute of Technology University, Tamil Nadu. VITEEE offers admission to four-year BTech programs in the Vellore and also Chennai campuses. The setting of the exam is on-line as well and questions are objective-type. The entrance test is conducted to fill up to 5000 BTech seats on offer. Apart from engineering courses, the varsity executes various other courses too.

Pattern of VITEEE Exam

VITEEE entrance exam is not a difficult exam; It actually is an easier exam and thus one has to be careful not to make silly mistakes. The competition is really tough for this exam.

VIT campuses and Exam Details

VITEEE is a common entrance exam for four campuses namely VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP and VIT- Bhopal. The exam subjects include Maths/Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English & Aptitude. The test has 125 multiple choice questions to be answered in two and half hours. Selection is based on the merit list of VITEEE and is completed through offline counselling process at VIT Campuses. Eligible candidates can select specific Programme and Campus during counselling.

Placements at VIT

It’s got a very good placement record. Google offered the highest CTC of 39 lakhs per annum last year

Thus an admission at VIT will ensure a good placement after completing the course.
