Ahilya Bai College of Nursing was established in July 1993 in New Delhi. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course of University offered by the college includes a period of 4 academic years, 8 semesters including the internship. Some of the top hospitals are associated with this college and provide practical learning to the enrolled students. It is one of the Top Ranked colleges among Delhi University. Students gain a lot of practical and theoretical knowledge. This college even provides a lot of exposure in nursing to their students. Ahilya Bai College conducts an entrance exam for the candidates who want to enroll in the subject. Students are selected based on their marks in the exam.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Age: Minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years and the maximum age is 30 years for general category students. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for the candidates who belong to SC/ST category.
• Qualification: Candidates need to obtain at least 50% marks in the aggregate of 4 subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Students have to pass each subject separately.
• Basis of Selection: Merit and the Entrance Exam conducted by the university.
• Candidates need to be medically fit for the course.
• Only women candidates are eligible for this course.
• Available Seats: Delhi Region (85%) and Outside Delhi Region (15%)

Syllabus
There is no such specified syllabus for the entrance exam. Students need to study the syllabus for class 12th deeply. Subjects are Physics, Biology, Chemistry, English Comprehension, Vocabulary, General Health. The questions directed in the exam will be related to the topics based on Class 12th concepts. Format and Pattern for the Nursing Exam
The questions asked in the exam will be in the English language. The mode of the questions will be multiple choices based therefore, there will be zero objective type questions. Students are required to complete the exam in the duration of 150 minutes only. There will not be given any extra time to finish the exam. No negative marks are allotted in this entrance exam. The maximum number of marks assigned in the examination is 100.
