BA in Digital Journalism has been started by CDLU Sirsa from the current Academic Session- 2021-22. Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa is the first university in the state of Haryana to introduce a BA in Digital Journalism. The programme falls under the Four Year Degree scheme. As shared by Ajmer Singh Malik, Vice-Chancellor, CDLU Sirsa, the syllabi of the course will meet the present requirements of today's Media Industry.
He said that the programme will be conducted under the recently established University School for Graduate Studies. Other than this, seven job-oriented Four Year Degree Programmes of B.Sc. and B.Com in different subjects like Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, Banking and Insurance, with the intake of 30 seats per programme, has also been introduced. All these programmes are as per New Education Policy 2020.
