GATE 2020 Registration Re-opened For Jammu And Kashmir Candidates

The application portal of Graduate Aptitude Test inEngineering (GATE) 2020 has been re-opened for students belonging from Jammu and Kashmir by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. Due to the lockdown in the state, many students were unable to apply for the entrance examination scheduled to be held in February was the reason stated by IIT, Delhi. Emails and phone calls were received from many candidates regarding the unavailability of internet connectivity, reflecting that a few hundred aspirants of GATE 2020 in Jammu and Kashmir might not have been able to apply. Keeping this in consideration, the GATE committee has decided to re-open the application process from October 30 to November 8, 2019.
